What is your return policy?

Universal Knowledge World has *sound* policies to make buying your products as smooth and simple a process for you, the customer.  This is why we've made easy-to-understand policies based on the most common reasons for returns/cancellations.

All products are universally eligible to be returned for a replacement if the product is defective. This is our site-wide policy applicable to all products.

Returns Policy For Books

WE provide a comprehensive return policy to suit our clients:

  1. Blank/Missing Pages: As the name suggest you can replace your book if it has missing pages,ie, a jump in page number between two consecutive pages(say from pg.56 to pg.90) or blank pages or some pages printed upside-down. This is a manufacturing defect and we will surely replace your book so that you don't miss out on any piece of information. This defect is not visible at once in the book but comes to notice only when we read the book, therefore we provide a 30 days window for this defect (calculated from date of delivery). Please note this does not apply to wear and tear of book due to use. Torn pages are not included in this section.
  2. Book different from product detail described on website- This problem needs to be reported within 7 days of receiving the book.
  3. Wrong book delivered- We take utmost care while packing and shipping your orders but if any book is delivered incorrectly then please let us know and we will replace your book. Please report this error within 2 days of receiving the book.


Return shipping guidelines:

Please ship the book using any courier of your choice that has an online package tracking capabilities. Please note the following for smooth the process of return.

  • A copy of invoice highlighting the items being returned(place it inside the return package)
  • Please write the following details on the return package: Order number, Declaration of item details, value and return reason
  • Please mail the name of courier company and the tracking id immediately to us at with your order number.

Please note: if you are returning the book at store then please make sure you get a signed copy of receiving for future records. 

Return Validation

When we receive your book we will assess the the reason for return. if found true then amount will be refunded according to our refund policy.


Why can't I exchange the product more than once?

If a customer returns the first product that's bought for store credit and ends up ordering another product they don't like, it will be very difficult for us to allow a return the second time. We strongly encourage all our customers to make an informed decision so that they buy a product they're most likely to enjoy.


Why is store credit given and not a refund under an exchange?

As per our policies, we cannot issue a refund in the case that a customer does not like a product. We've created our policies in this way because it is very important to us that you end up with a product that you absolutely love. Giving a refund would mean losing you as a customer as well as losing the opportunity to ensure you're happy.


What is your refund policy?

You are eligible for a refund at the time of pre-paid order cancellation or post returning your order in specific cases:

- where the returned product has a manufacturing defect

- if the returned product is in a completely sealed condition

- if you've ordered a product based on misinformation on the product page

- if you were sent a different product than what you ordered.


In the following cases, a refund will be not possible under any circumstance:

- if you've returned a product which is "7 Days Returnable"

- if you or the recipient of the product has mishandled the product

- in case of pre-orders where the product was specifically procured for you

- if a different product was returned than what we sent to you.


Return/Refund Policy for Electronics

Shopping at,  your items should reach you within 5-6 days of your order Confirmation. In case the item of the order placed is in back order, shipping may take a little longer which will be communicated to You. No extra charges and duties on Items. Free shipping across all India Terrain.

If you think, your order is delayed than the mentioned time, please feel free to contact Us. Please ensure you have provided us all important information, including your contact number, address, area pin code to your Location. In order to ensure your ordered product reaches you safely and on time, we use renown courier services such as DTDC, FedEx, Delhivery, Expressbee Couriers. We don’t compromise on your order deliveries with local courier Vendors.

In rare cases, delivery may take longer due to Bad Weather Condition and other unforeseen Circumstances.

USE OF GOOD SHIPPING SERVICES is very keen to use renown courier services, as its very important that your product reaches you on time and proper product care being taken off by the courier Facility/Hence no physical damage in Transportation.


At, we are committed to ensure that you have hassle-free and enjoyable shopping experience. You may have received a dead-on arrival or malfunctioning product; If the product is by any brand or manufacturer. You have to contact their respective customer service centers for a replacement or a return.



There are certain conditions in which returns are not possible by

They are as Follows:

  • The return request is made outside the specified time Frame.
  • The product is damaged because of Use.
  • The product is not in the same state as you received It.
  • The item has been used and Installed.
  • Item with physical Damages.
  • The product serial numbers missing/ tempered from the main Box.
  • There is anything missing from the package received, including price tags, labels and original Packing.
  • Product without invoice is not liable to Exchange.

  • All items include manufactures/Brand Warranty.
  • Physical damages to items are not covered under Warranty.
  • Warranty time span for items are valid under manufacturer/Brand warranty Terms.
  • Please provide your sales invoices to claim Warranty.

Warranty is applicable across all India service Centre’s by Manufactures/Brands.


  • In case you are facing some problem in installation of the product and wants to understand the functioning of the items, we have our specialized team with assistance to guide You.
  • Our technical team provides easy assistance through telephonic and Email Basis only.
